It’s About the Client 

Our name speaks for itself. Through our credentials, experience, and recognition, we will provide you with the family law solutions you should expect from a top law firm. 

We put our clients first. We put forth our best efforts to find the unique solution that is right for them. We solve immediate problems and continue to educate our clients on the best options to make informed decisions. We assist clients with locating resources and outside assistance if needed, including a CPA, moving company, financial advisor, estate planning attorney, mental health professional, or any number of support services to help them through a difficult time. 

Family Law Solutions is rooted in honesty and transparency. Our client’s financial situation is taken into consideration when we evaluate their needs. We propose affordable strategies to provide immediate results, as well as plan for long-term solutions. 

We are about finding the appropriate forum for resolving conflicts. Some clients can resolve their situation with little direction, and others may benefit from mediation, arbitration, or collaboration with the professional expertise of Family Law Solutions as their guide. Very few cases require court intervention and those that do find they have a fierce ally advocating on their behalf. 

Our dual intake process starts with a meeting between our team and potential client to review the facts and issues. If we determine that we are a good fit, we will schedule a follow-up meeting to develop the initial set of goals and strategies. We understand that client objectives may change over time, so to make sure our course of action 

continues to align with client priorities, we meet with clients every quarter. 

Additionally, our responsibility to our clients continues long after a final order is determined. We provide routine check-ins every six months for two years to ensure they comply and determine if outside assistance is needed. 

It’s About Fair Fees 

The primary complaint about family law practitioners is high costs and unexpected fees. Family Law Solutions does not price like other law firms. We spend time with our clients and explain our fees, how we bill, and offer options to minimize costs throughout the process. We also present options outside of traditional hourly billing. 

The bottom line is one size does not fit all for family law issues. Our innovative approach with fee options provides fair pricing while only performing services necessary for each case and client.

I am proud to be a member of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, which only accepts 1,650 members nationwide. In recognition of my commitment to family law practice, in 2021, I was honored with the prestigious Honorable Edward R. Jordan Lifetime Achievement Award from Illinois Family Law Bar and IICLE® (Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.) I also have a Master’s Degree in Tax, was voted a Leading Lawyer, Super Lawyer, and Top Woman Lawyer; and I was named one of the Top Five Divorce Attorney’s in Chicago by the independent newspaper Kev’s Best. In addition to charity work and volunteering in my community, I teach continuing legal education seminars throughout Illinois, have written for numerous legal publications, and have hundreds of hours of courtroom experience.
